Ingredients

16large sea scallopscleaned and patted dry with paper towels

8slicescenter cut bacon

olive oil spray

freshly ground black pepperto taste

16 toothpicks

Preparation

Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F for 3 minutes.

Place the bacon in the air fryer to partially cook for 3 minutes, turning halfway.

Remove and set on a paper towel to cool.

Remove any side muscles on the scallops.

Pat the scallops dry with paper towels to remove any moisture.

Wrap each scallop with a slice of bacon, then secure it with a toothpick.

Spritz olive oil over scallops, then season lightly with black pepper.

Arrange the scallops in a single layer in the air fryer.

Cook in batches for 8 minutes, turning halfway until the scallop is tender and opaque and the bacon is cooked through.

Serve hot, and enjoy!
