Ingredients

2 pcs eggs

2 tsp unsalted butter, melted

2 tsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt

½ cup granulated sugar

½ cup milk

1 cup all-purpose flour

5 pc apples, McIntosh or Granny Smith, medium

Preparation

Peel, core, and slice the apples into ¼-inch rings.

Put in bowl with lemon juice so they do not brown.

Sift the dry ingredients together.

Add the milk and butter. Mix.

Pat the apple rings dry so dough sticks to rings.

Make the dough stiff enough to dip the apple rings.

Fry in canola oil at least ½-inch deep.

Drain on paper towel.

Serve.
