6pcsMorningStar Farms® Maple Flavored Veggie Sausage Patties,(1 package)

1smallcooking apple

3tbspssugar

½tspcinnamon

4cupsmultigrain bread,firm-textured, cubed

1½cupscheddar cheese,shredded

6eggs

1cupsour cream

½tspvanilla

¼tspsalt

1½cupsfat-free milk

Preparation

Chop Morningstar Farms® Maple Flavored Veggie Sausage Patties into bite-size pieces. Set aside. In a small bowl toss together apple, 1 tablespoon sugar, and cinnamon. Set aside.

Place ½ bread in an 8x8x2-inch baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray. Top with ½ veggie patties, ½ apple mixture, and ½ cheese. Repeat layers.

In a medium bowl whisk together eggs and sour cream. Whisk in remaining sugar, vanilla, and salt. Add milk, and whisk until combined. Pour over mixture in baking dish. Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 24 hours.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Bake, uncovered for about 70 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
