Ingredients
4 burger buns
1½ lbs ground beef
8 slices American cheese
11⁄3 cup lettuce, shredded
2 white onion, sliced
8 slices dill pickle
1 pinch salt and pepper
bacon, cooked
¼ cup mayonnaise
2 tsp french dressing
1 tsp white vinegar
½ tsp granulated sugar
1½ tsp sweet pickle relish
Preparation
Cut a couple of slices of white onion and set to aside.
Preheat the gas grill on high heat.
While the grill is preheating, divide ground beef into 8 equal portions. Press each patty flat. Use the bun as a rough size guide, ensuring the patties are a similar size.
Grill the patties for 3 minutes on each side, and season while taking them off the grill.
While cooking the patties, lightly toast the buns either on the grill or in a toaster.
Once everything is cooked build the burger in the following order: patty, cheese, patty, cheese, 2 slices of bacon, onion rings, pickle slices, and sauce.
Heat the burgers in the microwave for 15 seconds.
Serve and enjoy.
Start by preparing the sauce. Mix together all of the sauce ingredients in a small bowl, and refrigerate until needed.
