Ingredients
1cupflour,plain or all-purpose
2tbspwhite granulated sugar
¼tspsalt
1tspbaking powder
½tspbaking soda
2tbspcanola oil
1large egg
2tsppure vanilla extract
½cupmilk
⅓cupNutella,melted
1tbspunsalted butter,melted
⅓cupwhite granulated sugar
2tspground cinnamon
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 24-count mini muffin tray with cooking oil spray, and wipe over excess with a paper towel. Set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda together.
Make a well in the center, then add the oil, egg, vanilla, and milk. Whisk the batter until smooth and lump-free.
Scoop about 2 teaspoons of the batter into each muffin hole, filling up to ¾ full.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden in color and a toothpick inserted into the center of a donut comes out clean.
Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then transfer the donut holes onto a cooling rack. Brush each donut over with a light coating of melted butter.
Combine the sugar and cinnamon together in a shallow bowl. Toss each donut hole into the cinnamon sugar mix until evenly coated.
Fill a piping bag with the Nutella. Then, using a narrow nozzle, fill each donut with the Nutella until they puff up and expand.
Serve, and enjoy!
