½cuporange juice

3tbspwhite sugar

1cupall purpose flour

1½tbspbaking powder

1cupwhite sugar

½cupbutter,melted

1egg

1½tbspvanilla extract

½cupminiature white chocolate chips,optional

½cupbrown sugar,optional

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Spray an 8×8-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Stir the blueberries, blackberries, orange juice, and 3 tablespoons of white sugar together in a bowl.

Allow the berries to stand for 20 to 30 minutes to accumulate juice.

Whisk the flour with baking powder in a bowl until thoroughly combined. Mix 1 cup of sugar with melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl until thoroughly combined.

Whisk the flour mixture gradually into the liquid ingredients to make a smooth batter.

Spread a thin layer of batter over the bottom of the prepared baking dish, then top with the berry mixture and juices.

Spoon remaining batter over berries and spread into an even top layer, then the sprinkle top with white chocolate chips and brown sugar.

Bake in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes until the cobbler is golden brown, the filling is bubbling, and the chips have melted.

Serve warm with ice cream, and enjoy!
