Ingredients
1cupblueberries,fresh, or frozen
¼cupsugar
⅔cupwater
2cupsmilk
Preparation
In a small saucepan, heat the blueberries, sugar, and water over medium high heat until boiling. Reduce heat to medium-low, and let simmer for 10 to 15 minutes to reduce until it thickens slightly.
Remove from heat and strain through a fine-mesh strainer if desired. Refrigerate.
Whisk together a ¼ cup of the blueberry syrup with 1 cup of cold milk to serve.
