Ingredients
1lbdry pasta
2cupscherry tomatoes,or grape tomatoes
8ozfresh mozzarella,diced
⅓cupfresh basil leaves,julienned or shredded
⅓cupextra virgin olive oil
3tbspbalsamic vinegar
1tbsphoney
¼tspsea salt
¼tspblack pepper,freshly-cracked
pinchItalian seasoning,store-bought or homemade
Preparation
Cook the pasta in a large stockpot of generously-salted water al dente according to package directions.
Drain pasta and rinse under cold water for about 20 to 30 seconds until no longer hot.
Whisk the balsamic vinegar, honey, sea salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning until well combined.
In a large serving bowl, toss pasta with the cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, oil and balsamic vinaigrette until incorporated.
