Ingredients

10ozbeef strip steak,boneless, 1 inch thick, trimmed

1large garlic clove,minced

1tspground cumin

½tspkosher salt

black pepper,to taste

3cupsmixed greens

½cuppico de gallo

¼cupmonterrey jack,shredded

2lime wedges

½cupguacamole

lime wedges,additional, optional

jalapeno slices,optional

Preparation

Rub the garlic all over meat, then season with salt, cumin and black pepper.

Heat the grill and oil the grates.

When hot, grill over medium-high heat for about 3 minutes on each side for medium-rare to medium.

Squeeze the juice from 1 lime wedge over each steak. Slice the steaks into thin slices.

Divide the greens, pico de gallo, cheese and guacamole between two plates.

Serve with steak, garnish with lime wedges and jalapeño, and enjoy!
