Ingredients

½cupmayonnaise

⅓cupbuttermilk

¼cupblue cheese,crumbled

¼cupsour cream

¼cupred wine vinegar

1½tbspwhite sugar

1tbspextra-virgin olive oil

1iceberg lettuce head,cut into 8 wedges

2tomatoes,diced

1cupbacon,cooked, crumbled

½cupblue cheese,crumbled

¼cupfresh parsley

Preparation

Combine the mayonnaise, buttermilk, blue cheese, sour cream, red wine vinegar, sugar, and olive oil in a bowl, then blend using a hand mixer. Taste, and add salt and pepper as needed. Set aside to chill.

Build the salad by placing 1 lettuce wedge on each of 8 plates. Drizzle equal amounts of the dressing over each wedge of lettuce.

Scatter the tomatoes, bacon, and blue cheese over each salad, and garnish with fresh parsley.
