Ingredients

2¼cupsflour

⅔cupsugar

2tsplemon zest

¾cupcold butter

½tspbaking soda

½tspbaking powder

½tspsalt

1egg

¾cupsour cream,or plain yogurt

1tspvanilla

8ozcream cheese,not spreadable

¼cupsugar

1egg

1tbsplemon juice

21ozcherry pie filling,(1 can)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease the bottom and sides of a 9-inch springform pan or line a 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper.

Combine flour, sugar, and lemon zest in a large bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly. Remove ⅔ cup of this mixture and set aside.

Add baking soda, baking powder, and salt to the remaining crumb mixture. Mix in egg, sour cream, and vanilla. Press into prepared pan.

Combine softened cream cheese, egg, lemon juice and sugar until well mixed. Pour over crust. Top with cherry pie filling. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture over top.

Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool completely then serve and enjoy.
