Ingredients

2chicken,breasts, cooked, chopped

1cupmilk,cold

1tbspflour

1tspolive oil

1garlic clove

3tbspcream cheese,light, not fat free

½cupparmesan cheese,fresh, shredded

salt,to taste

a pinch of nutmeg

12ozfettuccine,fresh

parsley,fresh, to taste

Preparation

Over medium heat, put the olive oil and garlic in a pan. Cook for about 1 minute.

Add the flour to cold milk until dissolved and add to the pan. Cook over medium heat while stirring constantly.

Once thickened, turn the heat off and stir in the cream cheese, salt, and nutmeg until melted. Add the parmesan cheese and chicken.

Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package’s directions.

Toss the pasta with the sauce, and top with parsley and additional cheese.
