Ingredients
1 cup brown rice, cooked & chilled
¾ cup red cabbage, diced small
4 oz yellow onion, diced small
7 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp ginger, grated
1 tbsp white vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp green chili sauce
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp scallion leaves, sliced
Preparation
Heat the oil on high heat & saute the ginger, garlic, and onions for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the onions are translucent.
Add the red cabbage, sugar, & salt. Continue sauteing until the vegetables are almost cooked.
Add the vinegar, green chili sauce, half of the scallions, and rice and thoroughly combine the ingredients.
Garnish with scallion leaves and serve.
