Ingredients

2cupsflour

1tspbaking soda

½tspsalt

½tspcinnamon

1cupchocolate chips

½cupbutter,melted, or vegetable oil

½cupbrown sugar

¼cupsugar

2eggs,at room temperature

1tspvanilla

1⅓cupsmashed bananas,(about 3 medium bananas)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease an 8×4-inch loaf pan.

Whisk the dry ingredients in a small bowl, then stir in chocolate chips.

Combine the butter and sugars. Add the eggs one at a time and vanilla.

Fold in the mashed bananas. Fold in the dry ingredients and mix just until combined.

Pour into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Do not overbake.

Cool in the pan for 5 minutes.

Remove from the pan and cool completely on a rack.
