Ingredients

4ozbaking dark chocolate,roughly chopped

¾cupbutter,diced

2¼cupsgranulated sugar

2eggs,room temperature

1tspvanilla extract

1½cupsall-purpose flour

1tspbaking powder

¼tspsalt

½cupsmini chocolate chips

8ozbaking chocolate,or chocolate chips, chopped

1cupheavy cream

1cupmini chocolate chips

Preparation

Heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13×9-inch sheet pan.

In a heatproof bowl, add the chocolate and butter. Microwave in 30 seconds intervals, stirring when it stops until the butter and chocolate are melted and the mixture is smooth.

Remove the bowl from the microwave and blend in the sugar and vanilla, stirring until combined.

Add the eggs and stir. Gently fold in the flour, baking powder, and salt, then the chocolate chips. Spoon the batter into the prepared baking pan.

Bake in the oven for about 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool completely in the pan.

In a heatproof bowl, add the chocolate and the heavy cream. Microwave in 30 seconds intervals until the chocolate is softened. Stir until the mixture is smooth.

Pour the ganache over the cooled cake. Scatter chocolate chips all over it.

Let the ganache set before cutting into bars. Serve, and enjoy!
