Ingredients

6 oz milk chocolate candy melts, or chocolate chips

2 tsp shortening, only if using chocolate chips

24 pcs pretzels

sea salt

Preparation

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. You can also place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and melt it by blasting it on high in 30-second intervals. Whisk after every interval until fully melted. Add the shortening if you’re using chocolate chips.

Dip each pretzel in the melted chocolate. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.

Place on a baking sheet lined with wax paper.

Sprinkle it with sea salt.

Let chocolate set for an hour until firm.
