Ingredients

1⅓cupsugar

⅔cupcocoa

⅓cupcornstarch

pinchsalt

4½cupsmilk

4tbspbutter

1tspvanilla

Preparation

In a saucepan, combine the sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and cornstarch. Mix well.

Add in the cold milk, then whisk until combined.

Increase the heat to medium, stirring constantly until the mixture reaches a boil.

Allow the mixture to boil for 1 minute while stirring constantly.

Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.

Allow the mixture to cool completely, stirring occasionally to avoid a skin forming on the pudding.

Serve chilled or warm, and enjoy!
