Ingredients

2tbspcanola oil

¼cabbage head,thinly sliced

2garlic cloves,crushed and minced

2tbspsweet soy sauce,aka Kecap Manis

2tbspsoy sauce

4tbspoyster sauce

1cupwater

12ozchow mein noodles,cooked a minute shy of the directions

6ozbean sprouts,optional

sesame seeds,for garnish, optional

Preparation

Heat a large pan or wok on high heat.

Add 2 tablespoons of canola oil to the pan and cook the cabbage.

Cook 2 to 3 minutes until wilted, then add the garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.

Add the soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, oyster sauce and water and bring to a boil for 1 minute.

Add in the noodles and bean sprouts and toss to coat.

Serve immediately
