If you love tacos, you are in for a treat with this EASY beef taco recipe. Ground beef with a homemade taco seasoning served in soft or hard tacos with your favorite taco toppings.
How to make beef tacos?
Tacos come together so quickly. Since they are best served with hot meat, while the meat is cooking you want to prep all of the toppings.
Cook beef– In a large skillet, saute ground beef breaking it up as it’s being cooked. Add broth, ketchup, seasoning, and stir. (HERE is a detailed post on how to cook taco beef.)Prep toppings– Meanwhile chop and shred all of the toppings for the tacos and place them in separate bowls.Tortillas– Heat the soft tortillas. You can either heat them in the oven for 5 minutes or heat in a skillet.Assemble– Add the cooked meat into soft tortillas or hard shells. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy it immediately.
Toppings for Tacos-
We like to add all of the toppings into bowls and serve it buffet style so everyone can just add their favorite toppings to their tacos.

What kind of ground beef should I use?
You can honestly use any beef you have on hand. If you are using lean ground meat, you won’t need to drain any excess juices (fat). If you’ll be using ground meat with higher fat content, just drain off any leftover juices.
How many tacos is one serving?
We used about 8 hard tacos or 6-inch soft tacos and counted 1 serving to be two tacos with meat and toppings. This recipe will then yield 4 servings.
