Ingredients

1medium ripe papaya

sugar,to taste

2tbspfresh lime juice

water or unsweetened apple juice

Preparation

Peel and seed the papaya; cut into chunks

Reserve the seeds in the refrigerator

In a blender or food processor, puree the papaya until very smooth

Pour into a bowl, and add sugar to taste

Stir in the lime juice

If the mixture is too thick, add water or apple juice, 1 teaspoonful at a time

This soup is supposed to be very thick

Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours

Serve in chilled fruit cups with a small spoonful of the reserved seeds in the center
