Ingredients

⅔ cup onion, chopped

2 cups celery, chopped

2 cups cornbread, prepared and chopped

¼ cup fresh parsley, minced

2 tsp Italian seasoning

2 tsp sage, ground

1 tsp black pepper

8 oz chicken broth, canned

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

In a bowl, mix the celery, onion, parsley, sage, Italian seasoning, black pepper, melted butter, and chicken broth. Stir until blended.

Add the grated cornbread and mix to combine.

Transfer to a greased casserole and spread the mixture evenly.

Bake it uncovered for 1 hour until it turns slightly brown at the top.
