Ingredients

3 ears corn

2 tbsp margarine , or butter

¼ tsp salt

Preparation

Wash and clean the ears of corn.

Then hold the corn vertically in a bowl. Get a knife and cut from the middle part of the corn all the way down. This separates the kernels from the cob. Flip and repeat for the rest of the corn.

Then take the cob and hold it vertically in the same bowl and scrape the pieces of corn still sticking to it. This is to get the “cream”. Repeat for remaining cobs.

Take a pan and add your butter and corn. Keep stirring until the mixture is well combined. Season with salt to taste.

Serve as a side dish or let cool and keep in a tightly covered container for the freezer.
