Ingredients

¾lbbutter,at room temperature

1cupbrown sugar

1cupgranulated sugar

1egg

1tspvanilla extract

3cupsrolled oats,not instant

1½cupflour

½tspsalt

½tspcinnamon

2½tspbaking soda

1½cupraisins

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees f.

Cream together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until fluffy.

Cream in egg and vanilla.

In a medium bowl mix together all remaining ingredients except the raisins.

With the mixer on, add the oat mixture to the butter mixture until combined.

Stir in the raisins.

Drop tablespoonfuls onto baking sheets.

Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.
