Ingredients
4 eggs
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup dark rum, non-spiced
18 ½ oz yellow cake mix
3.4 oz instant vanilla pudding mix
powdered sugar, for dusting
1 cup pecans , or walnuts, chopped
Preparation
Grab your crockpot and spray it with cooking spray.
In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat together the eggs, vegetable oil, and rum until they are well-mixed.
Add the cake mix and instant pudding mix, then continue beating until a smooth mixture is formed.
Pour the batter into the crockpot, then sprinkle some pecans or walnuts on top.
Cook it on low for 3 to 4 hours or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
Once your cake is done cooking, let it rest for a few minutes.
Dust it with powdered sugar before serving. Enjoy!
