Ingredients

1½ cups sugar

5 oz evaporated milk

2 tbsp unsalted butter, or margarine

¼ tsp salt

2 cups marshmallows

22 oz butterscotch chips, (1 package)

½ cup nuts, chopped

1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

Grease and line a square baking pan with parchment paper or foil.

In a medium saucepan combine the sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt. Bring to a rolling boil over medium heat, stirring constantly for 4 to 5 minutes.

Add marshmallows and mix until melted. Remove from heat.

Stir in the butterscotch chips, nuts, and vanilla extract. Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until marshmallows are melted.

Pour into the prepared baking pan and refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.

Lift from pan and cut into small squares before serving!
