Ingredients
1½ lb chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, and halved
1 cup breadcrumbs, store-bought or homemade
⅔ cup parmesan cheese, grated or powdered
2 cloves garlic, grated
5 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp dried basil
¼ tsp ground black pepper
cooking spray
¼ cup marinara sauce, per serving
1 tsp parmesan cheese, per serving
¼ tsp parsley, per serving
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and grease a baking sheet with cooking spray.
Mix the garlic and oil in a bowl.
In a separate bowl, mix the bread crumbs, cheese, basil, and pepper together.
Dip the chicken breasts into the garlic oil and coat into the crumb mixture.
Place the coated chicken onto your greased baking sheet. Spray with cooking spray, then roast for roughly 30 minutes or until fully cooked.
Serve immediately with marinara sauce on the side. Garnish with more parmesan cheese.
