½tspItalian seasoning

1lbyellow squash

1lbzucchini

salt,to taste

pepper,to taste

¼cupparmesan cheese,grated

¼cupcheddar cheese

⅓cupbread crumbs,seasoned

2tbspbutter

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Slice yellow squash and zucchini into ¼-inch slices.

Cook onion in butter and oil until tender. Add yellow squash, zucchini, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes, or just until tender-crisp.

Place yellow squash, zucchini, and onions in a greased 2-quart casserole dish.

Combine breadcrumbs, cheeses, and melted butter in a small dish. Sprinkle over yellow squash and zucchini.

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until yellow squash and zucchini is tender.
