Ingredients
2eggs
1cupsugar
1cupdairy eggnog
½cupmargarine,melted
2tsprum extract
1tspvanilla
2¼cupsflour
2tspbaking powder
¼tspnutmeg
½tspcinnamon
1cuppowdered sugar
3tbspeggnog
Preparation
In a large mixing bowl, add the eggs and beat. Add the sugar, eggnog, melted margarine, rum extract, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
Add the flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Stir until moist.
Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 to 50 minutes until lightly brown and toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool for about 10 minutes and remove from pan.
Whisk together the powdered sugar and eggnog. Add additional eggnog if preferred. Pour the glaze over the top of the bread.
Serve and enjoy.
