Ingredients

3/4 cup vegetable shortening

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar, granulated

2 egg

1/4 cup water

1 tsp vanilla

3 cup oats, uncooked

1 cup flour

1 tsp salt

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°.

Beat together shortening, sugars, egg, water and vanilla until creamy in a medium sized mixing bowl.

Add remaining ingredients.

Mix well wit a plastic spatula

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes
