Ingredients
56ozTuttorosso Crushed Tomatoes,(2 cans)
3cloves garlic,smashed
1tbspolive oil
½largeonion,finely chopped
1cupcarrots,finely chopped
½cupchicken stock,fat-free
fresh basil
Preparation
Saute garlic in oil, add onions and carrots and saute on medium-low for about 2 to 3 minutes, until soft.
Add tomatoes and chicken broth and simmer for 45 minutes on low. Add fresh basil in the last 10 minutes.
Taste for acidity, if sauce is a bit tangy or acidic, then add 1 tablespoon of sugar.
Serve over pasta and enjoy.
