Ingredients

14ozsweetened condensed milk,(1 can)

12ozevaporated milk,(1 can)

6eggs

8ozcream cheese,(1 package), softened

⅓cup2% milk

1tspvanilla extract

1cupwhite sugar

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Fill a large oven-safe pot with water to 1 inch, then bring to a boil.

Place the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, cream cheese, milk, and vanilla extract in a blender, and blend until smooth.

Place the sugar in an even layer in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook for 1 minute until the edges start to brown, then drag the sugar into the center with a spatula once the edges start to brown. Continue cooking, stirring from time to time, for 4 to 5 minutes, until the caramel is an even golden brown.

Pour the caramel into a 9-inch flan mold or baking pan, then swirl for the caramel to reach 1 inch up the sides.

Pour the condensed milk mixture on top. Place the mold in the pot of boiling water.

Bake the flan in the oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until a damp and a table knife inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes. Chill the flan in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours until firm.

Invert onto a serving plate so that caramel is on top, serve, and enjoy!
