Ingredients
1single crust pie,(9 inch pastry)
2½cupsraspberries
½cupbrown sugar,packed
1tspcornstarch
1tbspbutter
1egg white
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
Line a 9-inch pie plate with the pastry, and brush with egg white. Arrange berries in the crust. Combine the sugar and cornstarch, then sprinkle mixture over the berries. Dot with butter.
Cover with upper crust, and seal the edges.
Bake for 10 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 400 degrees F and continue baking for 30 minutes.
Serve warm, and enjoy!
