Ingredients

2 cups granulated sugar

¼ cup cocoa powder

¼ cup unsalted butter

½ cup milk

½ cup peanut butter

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 cups quick-cooking oats

½ cup walnuts, or coconut, (optional)

Preparation

In a saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, butter, and milk. Bring to a boil for 1 minute.

Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly.

Drop by teaspoonfuls on waxed paper or foil.

Let cool in the fridge or at room temperature before serving.
