Ingredients

1lblean ground beef

1small onion,diced

2clovesgarlic,minced

1tspItalian seasoning

¼cupred wine,or beef broth

24ozmarinara sauce,or pasta sauce

8ozfusilli,or medium pasta

¼cupmozzarella cheese,shredded

2tbspparmesan cheese,grated

Preparation

Brown beef, onion, and garlic in a deep skillet over medium-high heat until no pink remains. Drain fat.

While the beef is browning, cook pasta in salted water just until al dente. Drain but do not rinse.

Stir in red wine and Italian seasoning. Simmer for about 3 minutes until it evaporates. Add sauce and simmer a few minutes more. Stir in cooked pasta and simmer for about 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through.

Top with cheeses and serve.
