Ingredients
6tbspunsalted butter,divided
4garlic cloves,or 1 tbsp minced garlic
1tbspfresh parsley,chopped
1tbspolive oil
4New York Steak strip steaks,or Porterhouse steaks
salt and pepper
8ozshrimp,deveined, tails on or off
Preparation
Mix together the butter, garlic and fresh chopped parsley. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Heat a large grill over high heat. Lightly grease grill plates with oil.
Pat the steaks dry with paper towel, then brush lightly with oil. Generously season with salt and pepper.
Grill the steaks for 4 to 5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to desired doneness.
Spread half of the butter all over of steaks.
Transfer the steaks to a warm plate and let rest for 5 minutes.
Melt remaining butter.
Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
Reduce the heat to medium, then grill the shrimp for 5 to 6 minutes, depending on the size and thickness of the shrimp.
Flip each one halfway through cook time, then continue cooking until they turn pink in color while white and opaque on the inside.
Toss the remaining butter through the shrimp.
Serve the shrimp and steak, and enjoy!
