Ingredients
½cupbutter,softened
¾cupsugar
2large eggs
1tbsplemon juice
½lemon,zested
¾cupflour
¼tspbaking powder
¼tspsalt
½cuppowdered sugar
1tbsplemon juice
½lemon,zested
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 8×8-inch pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy removal.
In a large mixing bowl or using a stand mixer add the butter, sugar, and lemon zest and beat until it is fluffy.
Add in the eggs and lemon juice.
Add in the flour and baking powder and beat until it is combined.
Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes. Remove and let cool.
Whisk together the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and zest. Pour over the top of the cooled lemon brownies.
Serve and enjoy.
