Ingredients

1lbgreen beanstrimmed

½tspbaking soda

1tbsplemon juice

1tbspred wine vinegar

½tspsugar

3tbspolive oil

1clovegarlicminced

Salt & Pepper

2tspfresh basilchopped

2cupscherry tomatoeshalved

¼cuptoasted almonds

Preparation

Bring water and baking soda to a rolling boil. Cook green beans for 4 to 5 minutes or until tender crisp. Drain beans and place in an ice bath.

Combine lemon juice, sugar, olive oil, red wine vinegar, and garlic in a small bowl. Add green beans and tomatoes and allow to marinate at least 30 minutes.

Top with basil and almonds just before serving.
