Grilling season is my favorite because who wants to turn on the oven when it’s so beautiful outside? During the summer months, we use our grill almost every day. From the easy chicken thighs to our juicy chicken kabobs and quick grilled shrimp – grilling doesn’t get old.

Grilled pork chops-

You can’t go wrong with pork chops, especially if you are grilled. They are inexpensive meat and so easy to cook with and if seasoned correctly – so good. The pork chop rub consisting of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder with oil seems so basic but adds so much flavor to the rather bland meat. These grilled pork chops are inspired by our easy pan Pork Chops with butter.

How to grill pork chops?

Because grilling the pork is so easy, I’d recommend you start on the sides so you can serve everything together.

Preheat the grill to medium/high heat.In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the pork chops marinade. Combine the salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder.Massage the oil onto the pork chops on both sides. Season both sides of the pork chops.Sear chops 2 minutes per side. Turn the heat down to med/low and cook for another 6-8 minutes, until cooked through.Remove the pork chops from the grill, cover, and allow to rest for 5 minutes.

What to serve with pork chops?
