Ingredients
15 oz white kidney beans, cannellini, rinsed, drained
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 large garlic clove, chopped
1 tsp olive oil
½ tsp ground cumin
¼ tsp dried oregano
½ tsp cayenne pepper
parsley, chopped
Preparation
Puree the ingredients in a processor until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Transfer the mixture to a shallow bowl.*
Sprinkle with cayenne pepper, oregano, or chopped parsley if desired.
