Ingredients

3chicken breasts,cut into 1-inch pieces

2tbspsesame oil or olive oil

2tbspbutter,divided

2garlic cloves,minced

3tbsplow sodium soy sauce

lemon juice,to taste

rice,cooked, for serving

scallions,chopped, for garnish, optional

¾cupmayo,use Japanese mayo if possible

1tbspketchup,heaping

1tspgranulated sugar

1tsppaprika,smoked or regular

2tsprice vinegar

1tspgarlic powder

¼tsponion powder

salt and pepper,to taste

Preparation

Add the yum yum sauce ingredients to a bowl and stir until well combined. Set aside.

Cut up the chicken and season it with salt and pepper.

Add the oil and 1 tablespoon of butter to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Let the pan heat up for a few minutes. Cook the chicken for 5 minutes, turning once halfway, or until cooked through.

Add in the rest of the butter, the garlic, and the soy sauce. Let it bubble for about a minute.

Squeeze some lemon juice over top. Serve with rice, yum yum sauce, and optional chopped scallions.
