Ingredients

3 oz red onion, chopped

½ cup celery, chopped

4 tbsp butter

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

1 cup crunchy peanut butter

4 cups chicken stock, (or beef bouillon)

½ tsp celery salt

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp peanuts, roasted and coarsely chopped

Preparation

Sauté the onion and celery in the butter until translucent.

Add the flour and stir constantly. After, add peanut butter and stir.

Add celery salt and chicken broth or beef bouillon, and lemon juice.

Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until thickened and slightly reduced.

Garnish with chopped peanuts and serve
