2ozdark rum,like Myer’s Original Dark Rum

2ozlight rum,like Mount Gay Silver Rum

1½ozpassion fruit purée

1ozfreshly-squeezed orange juice

1ozfreshly-squeezed lime juice

½ozsimple syrup

½ozgrenadine syrup

orange slice

maraschino cherry

Preparation

Add the ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Fill with 8 to 10 ounces crushed ice, then shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until the cocktail shaker is too cold to hold.

Pour into a hurricane glass (don’t strain). Pop in a straw and garnish with an orange slice and maraschino cherry.
