3cupsketchup

⅔cupdark brown sugar

½cupwater

½cupwhite wine vinegar

½cuptomato paste

2tbspyellow mustard

2tbsppure chile powder

1tbspfreshly ground pepper

1tspsalt

1tspgranulated onion powder

1tspgranulated garlic powder

½tspground ginger

Preparation

In a medium saucepan, combine all of the ingredients and bring to a boil over moderate heat.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer the sauce for 30 minutes, stirring often to prevent scorching.
