Ingredients

1lbBrussels sprouts,rinsed and dried, ends trimmed, sliced in half lengthwise

3garlic cloves,minced

2tbspextra virgin olive oil

2tsplemon juice,fresh, plus more for serving

½tspfine sea salt,or to taste, scant

¼tspfreshly ground black pepper

¼cupParmesan cheese,freshly grated

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Add the brussels sprouts and garlic to a large mixing bowl, drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, then toss. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and toss. Spread onto a cookie sheet in an even layer.

Bake in the oven for about 25 to 30 minutes, tossing once halfway through baking, until golden brown on the edges.

Serve warm spritzed with more lemon juice to taste and topped with Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
