12ozdry angel hair pasta

3tbspolive oil

3tbspunsalted butter

3garlic cloves,minced

1½tsplemon zest

3tbspfresh lemon juice

3tbspfresh basil,chopped

3tbspfresh parsley,chopped

Preparation

Cook pasta in salted water according to directions listed on the package, keeping in mind it will only take about 4 minutes so it is recommended to add the pasta to water when beginning to cook the shrimp; reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.

In a large skillet, heat olive and butter over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper then sauté for about 2 minutes. Add in garlic and sauté for about 2 minutes until shrimp has cooked through.

Toss drained pasta with shrimp along with ⅓ cup of reserved pasta water, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Add more water, 1 tablespoon at a time as needed.

Toss in 2 tablespoons of each parsley and basil, then sprinkle the top with parmesan cheese and the remaining parsley and basil. Serve warm.
