Ingredients

1cupshortbread cookies,crushed

½cupmacadamia nuts,finely chopped

¼cupsugar

⅓cupbutter,melted

8ozcream cheese,(1 package), softened

14ozsweetened condensed milk,(1 can)

½cupkey lime juice,or lime juice

1cupheavy whipping cream

¼cupmacadamia nuts,coarsely chopped

lime peel,optional

Preparation

In a small bowl, mix the cookie crumbs, macadamia nuts, and sugar. Stir in the melted butter.

Press into the bottom and the sides of a greased 9-inch pie plate.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

In a large bowl or mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Beat in the milk and lime juice until blended.

Transfer to the crust. Refrigerate covered for at least 4 hours.

In a small bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Spoon or pipe on top of the pie.

Top with the macadamia nuts and lime peel, then serve and enjoy!
