Ingredients
12ozwide egg noodles
1½cupsheavy cream
2cupswhole milk
2tbspall purpose flour
½tspgarlic salt,plus more if needed
¼tspblack pepper,freshly ground
3½cupsItalian cheese,grated & divided
6ozham cubes
1tbspfresh parsley,finely chopped
½tbspdried basil
Preparation
Butter a 13×9-inch glass baking dish and set aside.
Cook the noodles according to package directions. Add salt to water for boiling. Do not rinse noodles.
In a lager bowl, whisk the cream, milk, flour, ½ teaspoon salt, and pepper.
Stir in 2 cups shredded cheese. Add the noodles and toss to coat. Add any more salt and pepper, if needed.
Transfer to a prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the noodle mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees F for approximately 30 to 35 minutes.
Let sit for about 10 minutes before serving.
