Ingredients
1 lb mahi-mahi fillets, chopped into ¼-inch slices
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp cilantro, fresh, minced
2 tbsp ginger, fresh, minced
2 tbsp red onions, or shallots, minced
2 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp honey
salt and ground black pepper, to season
1 mango, peeled, pitted, and diced
3 oz red onion, chopped
½ cup cilantro leaves, fresh, chopped
1 jalapeno, or any similar pepper, minced
1 tbsp lime juice
salt and ground black pepper, to season
Preparation
Combine all the salsa ingredients in a medium-sized bowl.
Season to taste with salt and ground black pepper. Adjust accordingly.
Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Combine all your ingredients for the burger in a bowl.
Season with salt and pepper. Gently stir, making sure not to over-mix.
Create 4 patties from the mixture, cover, and chill for 20 minutes and prepare your salsa.
Preheat a large skillet with olive oil over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for 5 minutes on each side.
Assemble your burger and serve.
