Ingredients
⅓cupunsalted butter
⅓cupbrown sugar,packed
¼cupgranulated sugar
1egg yolk
½cupall-purpose flour,plus 2 tbsp, fluffed and levelled
1tspvanilla
¼tspbaking soda
½cupchocolate chips,or chunks
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Lightly grease a 6- to 8-inch cast iron skillet.
In a medium microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter on high at 15 second intervals.
Add in the brown and white sugar into the bowl of butter, then mix with a spoon until combined.
Add in egg, stirring quickly to incorporate.
Add flour, vanilla, baking soda and mix with a spoon until completely combined.
Stir in the chocolate.
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared skillet.
Bake for 20 to 22 minutes or until edges are crispy and center is just set.
Let cool slightly.
Top with ice cream, serve, and enjoy!
