Ingredients

5 lbs pork shoulder, or butt

1 head garlic cloves, peeled

½ cup chicken broth

1½ tsp Garlic powder

Salt, to taste

Pepper, to taste

Preparation

Season the pork with the garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Place it in a large pan and pour in the chicken broth and add the garlic cloves.

Roast at 325 degrees F for 3 ½ hours.

Let the roast sit for 40 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 475 degrees F and continue to cook the roast for an additional 20 minutes.
